So two days ago I posted about putting on my Eibach lowering springs. I ran I to a !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
The head of the bolt connecting my shock to my brake assembly's sheared off and was not budging at all. With the help of my dad and his mechanic tools from work we got the bolt free today and finished putting on the springs to go with my Bilstien shocks
Did you know the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! actually paired shocks from Bilstien with Eibach springs in a premade package that retails for 750? Cause I didn't until I looked up my springs
Well my Bilstiens came on the car and have a lifetime warrantee, and I got the springs for $50 so you could say I'm pleased
Here is the before:
And the after:
and yes I know I have to repaint the front bumper, I didn't do that great of a job when I first put it on because I knew it was going to have to get through a winter anyways and it was snowing when I was doing the build, so I had to paint it in between flurries.

yeah I'm a big fan, and now that I have some sporty springs on it I'm excited to drive it around, still had stock springs all around and both in the back were busted

Looks pretty good! The only thing about coilovers is how much they exaggerate potholes.

luckily I just went shock and spring combo then cause the roads up here are God awful!
I helped my friends girlfriend put raceland coils on the other day and that shit is soo low

Eyyyyyy, Raceland. They make pretty good products, but unless they are the Ultimo versions (green) they will ride hard as shit.
Potholes literally make my spine hurt.

haha they are ultimos, we told her that they would be stiff as all hell but she didn't care.
She just wanted to go low and is on a budget

Yup, for a budget they are pretty much the way to go. Did she put anti seize lubricant on first? That's important.
Another thing is that they will be pretty loud for the first 100 miles or so.

they were off her boyfriends old car so I think they've been broken in already, but she's so low right now it's comical

Haha, that's good then.
I'd love to go that low. But speedbumps, potholes and everything in between is holding me back.

I just put on my Bilstein B12 Pro-Kit and I am sitting as low (on 17"s) as your friend's GF on racelands. I'm thinking I should refresh the top strut mounts in the front. They didn't have too many miles on them, but making me wonder b/c your car doesn't sit as low as mine. I have a finger gap between fender and wheel.

yeah that might be a good idea lol
From what I was reading the combo should only drop It about an inch and a half
